I didn’t mean to say we don’t need to worry about it. It still isn’t widespread due to the sex ed taboo in the US. I just mean to say it is absolutely not a new idea just because you haven’t heard the distinction.
Also
This “sudden new argument” of gender =\= sex is as old as the 60s gender revolution and is popularly accepted in academia.

Today, the Virginia Senate took a firm stand in support of liberty, the Constitution for the United States, and the Constitution of Virginia by voting in favor of House Bill 1160 (HB1160), the “NDAA Nullification Act.”
